COACHING FOR SOLOPRENEURS

Start Before You’re Ready

Build the business you’ve been thinking about, in a way that feels like yours.

You don’t need to know everything from the start. Bring your ideas, your experience and your curiosity. I’ll help you connect the pieces and work out what comes next.

HOW STUDIO20 GOT BUILT

I just started with an idea

I've had many websites over the years. I've taken them offline, started again and changed direction more than once. Now, finally, I feel like everything has landed in the right place.

Back when I started as a yoga teacher, I just knew I needed a website to promote my work. A place for people to land, get to know me and get a feel for what I could offer.

So I learned.

I taught myself Squarespace, then Canva and the basics of SEO, website structure and writing for the web.

Somewhere along the way, I started using ChatGPT and Claude too, mostly as thinking tools. To get unstuck, test an idea or see something from another angle.

I changed things, deleted things and started over more than once.

Slowly, Studio20 took shape around yoga and coaching. Not because I had a perfect plan, but because I kept learning what I needed to know, one piece at a time, and kept going even when I didn't have it all worked out.

That's when I realised I could help other people do the same. You bring your experience and your idea. I bring what I've learned, guide you through the process and help you build the pieces you need.

THE REALISATION

You probably don't need ten different people

When you're starting something of your own, it can suddenly feel like you need a brand designer, a copywriter, a web designer, an SEO expert, a social media manager and a marketing strategist. All before you've made a single sale.

There is a place for specialists. This isn't an argument against them.

It's just that there are a lot of pieces to put together, and you can probably do more yourself than you think.

THE ALTERNATIVE

You can build your own foundations, with someone beside you

You can learn enough to understand your own business and make good decisions about it.

You can find the words. You can shape your website. You can learn the tools well enough to keep changing things yourself, long after we've stopped working together.

When you get stuck, we can try it together.

Build it yourself. Try it together.

WHAT I CAN EXPLORE TOGETHER WITH YOU

Before we begin with Squarespace or Canva, let’s start with the business itself

  • Why are you doing what you're doing?

  • How do you want to do it? What makes your approach yours?

  • What are you actually offering?

  • Who is it for?

  • Why would someone choose you?

  • What should your website say?

  • What needs to be created now, and what can wait?

Once those pieces are clearer, we turn them into something real: your words, your website and the basic pieces of an online presence that actually sounds like you.

FROM IDEA TO LAUNCH

We take it one step at a time

Starting a business can feel like a long list of things you should somehow already know how to do. You don't have to learn everything at once.

We work through the process together, from the first idea to putting your business out into the world. Along the way, you'll learn how the different pieces fit together, make the decisions that are right for your business and create what you need step by step.

I'll coach and mentor you through the thinking, share what I've learned from building Studio20 and help you with the practical parts too.

By the end, you won't just have a website or an online presence. You'll understand how you got there and know how to keep building from there yourself.

01 · CONCEPT

Work out what you're building

Before we touch Squarespace, Canva or social media, we start with the business itself.

Together, we'll work through your idea, why you're doing it, who it's for, what you're offering and what makes your approach yours.

We'll look at your offer, positioning, pricing and the questions you need to answer before you start creating.

You leave this stage with:
A clearer concept, a defined offer and a practical plan for what needs to happen next.

02 · CREATE

Turn the idea into something people can see

Now we start creating the pieces that bring the business to life.

I'll take you through website structure, copy, visual direction, Canva, Squarespace and the basics of SEO. We'll look at what your website needs to say, how it should feel and how the different pieces connect.

Depending on how we work together, you'll create some of these pieces yourself or we'll create them together.

You leave this stage with:
Your core messaging, website structure, visual direction and the main pieces of your online presence taking shape.

03 · LAUNCH

Put it out there and see what happens

A website isn't really finished when you press publish.

We'll get the practical pieces ready, from your website and contact or booking process to your social profiles and first steps in getting your business seen.

I'll also show you how to make changes, test things and keep improving your online presence as you learn more about your business and your people.

You leave this stage with:
A business presence that's ready to be seen, plus the understanding and confidence to keep working on it yourself.

TIMELINE AND PRACTICAL DETAILS

How it actually works

This isn't about rushing an idea into a finished business. A business takes time to take shape, and so do you. As you make decisions, try things and see what fits, the business can evolve with you.

We give the process some space, so you have time to think, create, learn and grow into what you're building.

  • We work in stages. We start with the business itself, then shape the words and visual direction before moving into the website, online presence and launch.

  • We meet regularly. Usually every one to two weeks, with space between sessions to work on the next piece. You can also reach me by email or voice note when you need to check something in between.

  • Things can change. You might understand your offer differently once you start talking about it, or discover that something you thought you needed isn't actually right for you. That's part of the process.

  • Payment is spread across the project. We agree the payment schedule before we begin, usually with a deposit followed by payments across the project.

  • Not sure where to start? That's what the first conversation is for. We can look at what you're thinking about, what you've already done and what kind of support would be most useful.

WHO THIS IS FOR

This could be a good fit if...

  • You're a solopreneur, coach, consultant, creative, therapist or independent practitioner

  • You have an idea or an early-stage business that is still taking shape

  • You feel overwhelmed by all the things you're told you need to create

  • You're willing to learn, experiment and change things as you go

  • You'd rather understand your own business than hand it all over to someone else

WHO THIS IS FOR

This probably isn't for you if...

  • You're looking for a cheap website package or quick fix

  • You want a Canva, Squarespace or marketing course

  • You want a branding agency to create your whole identity for you

  • You want a full-service marketing team to take everything off your hands

  • You'd rather hand over the whole process than learn and stay involved

WHAT YOU HAVE AT THE END

Something that actually sounds like you

I believe in building businesses that feel like the person behind them. Not something squeezed into a formula because that's how you're told a business should look, but something that reflects what matters to you, how you work and what you actually want to create.

You'll have a website that says what you actually do. Words that sound like you, not like a template. A visual direction you understand and can keep using.

You'll also have the basic pieces of an online presence in place, along with enough understanding of how they fit together to keep making changes yourself, long after we've finished working together.

Your first website version doesn't have to be the final one. It just needs to give you somewhere to start.
