Studio20 FAQ

What kind of sessions do you offer?

I offer one-to-one coaching sessions through Studio20.

The focus is on exploring the ideas, questions, possibilities and changes that are catching your attention right now.

Some people arrive with a clear project or direction in mind.

Others simply have a feeling that something wants to be explored.

Together, we create space to see what emerges and what the next step might be.

Is this coaching or mentoring?

The sessions are primarily coaching conversations.

At times I may bring in tools, exercises or a more guided structure when that feels supportive. In those moments the work can feel closer to mentoring, while still remaining rooted in a coaching approach.

You decide what you want to explore and the direction you want to take.

My role is to ask thoughtful questions, explore possibilities with you and offer tools when helpful.

Do you also offer therapy?

No.

The work I offer through Studio20 is coaching, not therapy or medical care.

That said, coaching conversations can sometimes feel similar to therapy because we explore the whole person, not just goals or action plans.

Depending on what feels relevant, we may explore thoughts, emotions, beliefs, habits, patterns and the ways your body responds to stress, change and everyday life.

As a certified coach and yoga teacher, I sometimes draw on elements of somatic coaching, mindfulness, breathwork and body awareness when they feel supportive.

While coaching is generally more focused on the present and future than therapy, we may also explore experiences and patterns from the past when they help us better understand what is happening today.

The focus is always on helping you move forward in a way that feels more aware, grounded and aligned.

If it ever feels that therapeutic support would be more appropriate, I can point you towards trusted professionals in my network.

Do I need a clear goal before booking?

Not at all.

Some people arrive with a clear idea, project or decision they want to explore.

Others simply feel curious about a possibility, a change or a new direction.

You do not need to know exactly where things are heading.

Bring the question.

Bring the idea.

Bring the spark that keeps returning.

We start there.

What do people usually come to coaching for?

People come for many different reasons.

Some examples include:

  • career changes and new directions

  • starting a business or freelance practice

  • creative projects and ideas

  • moving abroad or creating a different lifestyle

  • transitions, decisions and new beginnings

  • finding more freedom, flexibility or choice

  • exploring what might be possible next

Can sessions include yoga or mindfulness?

Yes.

As a certified yoga teacher with more than 1,000 hours of training and several years of teaching experience, I often draw on elements of yoga, breathwork, meditation and simple grounding practices when they feel supportive.

Many sessions begin with a moment to arrive.

A breath.

A pause.

A short meditation or grounding exercise.

This can help create space to slow down, settle into the conversation and notice what is present.

Depending on the focus of the session, we may also explore body awareness, nervous system regulation and simple somatic practices alongside coaching.

These practices are always optional and adapted to what feels comfortable and useful for you.

They can also be offered as stand-alone sessions.

What about pricing?

You're welcome to begin with a free introductory call.

A first conversation to explore what is currently catching your attention and whether coaching at Studio20 feels like a good fit.

Sessions are offered in a flexible and personal way rather than through fixed packages or standard pricing.

If you feel curious to continue, we can simply explore together what feels realistic and manageable for your situation.

Which language are sessions in?

Sessions can take place in English or Dutch.

Most sessions take place online, with occasional in-person sessions in Amsterdam or Mallorca.

Online is often the easiest way to connect and make the most of our time together.

What is Sparks by Studio20?

Sparks by Studio20 on Substack is a space for honest reflections, personal stories, creative ideas and possibilities.

It explores many of the same themes as the coaching conversations: curiosity, creativity, meaningful change, following sparks and taking small steps towards what feels possible.

How do the courses support the coaching sessions?

The courses and coaching sessions are designed to complement each other.

Some people begin with self-study and reflection through a course.

Others prefer the personal support of coaching conversations.

You can begin wherever it feels right for you.

Curious to explore this together?

Perhaps you have a question.

An idea.

A possibility.

Or a spark that keeps returning.

Just say hello.
