Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of sessions do you offer?

I offer one-on-one sessions through Studio20. Depending on what you’re looking for, these sessions can take the form of ICF-aligned coaching, yoga-based sessions, experience-based mentoring, or creative concept work. The focus is always on slowing down, creating clarity, and working in a way that feels supportive, grounded, and honest.

Is this therapy?

No. My work is not therapy and does not replace professional mental health care. I work as an ICF-aligned coach and offer experience-based mentoring and guidance. There is no diagnosis or treatment involved.

What does ICF coaching mean in your work?

ICF coaching means that I work according to the ethical guidelines and coaching principles of the International Coaching Federation. Coaching sessions focus on awareness, choice, and gentle forward movement, guided by what matters to you. I hold the space, ask questions, and support your process without steering outcomes.

Can I book sessions focused on yoga, mindfulness or meditation?

Yes. You can book sessions focused on yoga, mindfulness, meditation, or breathwork. I am a certified yoga teacher with over 1,000 hours of training and more than five years of full-time teaching experience, now working part-time. These sessions are experiential and supportive, and can stand on their own or be combined with coaching or mentoring.

What do you mean by experience-based mentoring?

Experience-based mentoring draws on my professional and lived experience. This includes my background as a yoga teacher, English language teacher, student counsellor, and content creator, alongside years of working with people one-on-one.
Topics may include time management, business development, online visibility, or creative concept development. In these sessions, I may share reflections, examples, and practical suggestions when helpful, always in conversation with you.

Do you help people set up their business, website or online presence?

I support people in thinking through their business, website, and online visibility from a coaching and/or mentoring perspective. This means clarifying ideas, structure, tone, and direction together. My focus is on helping you make choices that feel aligned and sustainable, and on supporting you in learning how to do this yourself, with more freedom and independence.

Can you support me around moving or living abroad?

Yes. I can support you from an experience-based mentoring perspective. Having lived and worked abroad myself, I understand the emotional, practical, and identity-related layers that often come with relocation, change, and starting again in a new place. Sessions may focus on clarity, grounding, decision-making, and creating a sense of home, rather than practical or legal relocation advice.

Do I need a clear goal before booking a session?

No, not at all. You don’t need to have everything figured out. Some people arrive with a clear question or theme, others simply feel the need to pause and explore. We start where you are.

What if I’m highly sensitive or easily overwhelmed?

You’re very welcome here. I am highly sensitive myself and have lived with sound sensitivity for many years. Sensitivity is met with care and respect. Sessions move at your pace, with attention to boundaries, safety, and what your system needs in the moment.

How do you work with pricing?

I work with people from different countries, backgrounds, and personal situations, which is why I prefer to suggest pricing in a personal and transparent way. Payment is approached as a fair exchange for my time, energy, and expertise, and as part of a respectful collaboration. We explore this together during the first conversation.

In which languages do you work?

Most pages on this website are in English. I am a near-native English speaker, with Dutch as my mother tongue. I have lived and worked in international communities for many years, which is why the structure of the website uses letter-based menu explanations in different languages, while additional information is often provided in English. Sessions can take place in English or Dutch.

How do I know if this is a good fit?

If you feel drawn to a slower, personal, and attentive way of working, it may be a good fit. The first session (40 minutes) is a chance to get to know each other. It is shaped like a coaching session, with space for your questions too, so you can gently sense whether this way of working feels supportive for you.
