What’s Possible (and What’s Not)
Every project is unique, and there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. This page is here to give you a sense of what’s usually included in my web design services — and what isn’t. Think of it as a guide, not a contract.
Each website project is a collaboration built on trust. I take my work seriously, but I don’t believe in endless lists of what’s “in” or “out” — that feels more like an agency contract than the creative, personal process I want to offer you.
Instead, this page is here to bring clarity: what’s often part of my work, and where I might bring in trusted professionals. It’s meant to set expectations gently, not create limits. The details will always be confirmed in your proposal after our first call, and can adapt as the process unfolds.
What’s (Often) Included
Mini SEO research to help choose a fitting domain name (URL)
Buying and organizing your domain name (and inbox, if needed)
Guidance in choosing and activating a Squarespace template
Setup of domain, navigation, and essential settings
Creating and adjusting fonts, colors, and layout for a cohesive look
Writing or editing your text so it feels clear and authentic
Light shaping or adjustments of your images
Ongoing collaboration and feedback from the first spark to launch
A responsive, user-friendly design that works on all devices
Time and care to refine ideas until everything feels right
A Google Drive folder after launch with backups, images, and SEO notes
What’s Not Included (by default)
Some elements aren’t part of my core offering, and when they’re needed, I’ll bring in trusted professionals from my network. Everything will be coordinated through me, so you’ll have one clear process. We’ll clarify this together at the start of the project.
Ongoing platform fees (Squarespace, Hover)
Logo design
Mood boards
Advanced graphic design
Full corporate branding
Extensive SEO research & detailed sitemaps
Professional translations
Final professional editing (I shape and edit your text, but a dedicated editor can give it a last check if desired)
Optional Add-Ons
If helpful, extra services can be added separately or arranged through my team:
Ongoing support and maintenance of your website (and other channels if needed)
Training to manage and maintain your website with confidence
Social media guidance to align your online presence
Setup of Substack, YouTube, or other social platforms
Professional SEO for deeper visibility
Graphic design for logos or visuals
Photography for authentic, high-quality images
Translation services for multilingual websites
Business astrology — an optional layer of insight to help with clarity and timing in your decisions
Trusted Creative Team
I don’t do everything alone. I collaborate with a small, trusted circle of professionals who can add depth and spark to your project when needed:
A seasoned graphic designer with 30 years of experience in corporate identities and brand look & feel.
A young creative talent for photos, videos, social media and marketing.
Skilled translators for websites and product/webshop descriptions.
And, for those who want an extra layer of insight, an experienced astrologer who helps you understand yourself and your business more deeply — and guides you on the right timing for your next step, based on what’s written in the stars.
Together, we bring experience, creativity, and care — so your website reflects not just your work, but your energy and vision.
Multilingual Websites
Your website can speak more than one language. I create source text in Dutch or English and can also set up sites in German, Spanish, or French. For multilingual websites, I coordinate with translators so your content feels natural in every language.
Fair and Flexible Billing
I believe in keeping billing fair, flexible and transparent.
No rigid package fees — instead, I bill monthly based on the project timeline. For example, if a project takes three months, each month one-third of the total is invoiced.
An initial upfront payment is always required before design work begins. For smaller sessions (like Orientation or Starter Websites), this is the full fee. For larger projects, the first installment (usually around one-third of the total) is paid upfront.
Work continues once each monthly invoice is paid.
Fees are tailored to your situation. Clients who can contribute more help support those who can pay less.
Smaller installments are possible (with a 15% surcharge for extra administration).
The final payment is made after launch, once all invoices are settled.
This way, the practical side is clear — so we can focus our energy on the creative journey ahead. Still have questions? Simply contact me.
